City University of Seattle's regionally accredited B.A.Ed. with Teacher Certification program is designed for individuals who have some college credits and wish to pursue a rewarding career in teaching. City U of Seattle has one of the few programs that allows you the option of earning an Elementary K-8 Endorsement, a Special Education K-12 Endorsement or BOTH while you earn your bachelors degree.
The Elementary (K-8) program will provide you with the knowledge and tools needed to teach core curriculum to a diverse population of elementary and middle school children. Subjects covered include: Math, Science, Reading and Literacy, Social Studies and Health. The Special Education (K-12) program combines traditional education training with a focus on classes that prepare you to assist children with special needs.
Their full-time program is designed to be flexible, so you can study without sacrificing your career. Typically, you'll meet for class just two evenings a week, plus Saturdays.

The education curriculum provides the skills and knowledge to teach and guide school children in preschool through 8th grade. The undergraduate teacher preparation program culminates in a Bachelor of Arts in Education degree as well as a Washington State Residency Teacher Certificate with Elementary (K-8) Endorsement.
