In addition to the CDA, ECE Certificate and general AA Degree, YVCC offers the Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education with a Preschool Special Education option and Paraeducator Preparation Training.  ECE Certificate specializations include I/T Instructional Assistant, Preschool Instructional Assistant, Vocational Preschool Teacher Certificate, Preschool Special Education Assistant and a Paraeducator certificate.

AAS tracks include ECE and ECE with a specialized option for Paraeducators. 

Yakima Valley College also offers STARS courses, including the Basic 20-Hr Guidebook Training, and CDA Renewal courses and Building Bridges courses in both English and Spanish.

Articulation agreements:  Washington State University, Central Washington University: K-8 Teaching certification with TESL minor.
