Federal Financial Aid

We encourage all students to apply for financial aid at the college they plan to attend.  Even if you are not interested in taking out loans for your education, you will often qualify for grants or additional scholarships.  This is money that does not need to be repaid.  If you are accepted into our scholarship program, WA Scholarships will cover tuition and fees that are not included by financial aid, in addition to the travel stipend and bonus.

Students receiving grants will allow our scholarship dollars to go further by enabling us to serve a larger population.  This is a process you should start as early as possible as funding is limited.  By applying for financial aid, you will also be notified if you are eligible for other scholarships and grants, such as Pell grants. Below is a brief explanation of the Financial Aid process.  We recommend you contact your college's financial aid department for more information.
