Economic Impact
Committee on Economic Development
Throughout its 62-year history, the Committee for Economic Development has addressed national priorities that promote sustained economic growth and development to benefit all Americans. Nowhere has CED's involvement been more critical in recent years than in our education policy work. In February 2004, CED released a report on school finance entitled Investing in Learning: School Funding Policies to Foster High Performance.
National Women’s Law Center
Since 1972, the National Women's Law Center has expanded the possibilities for women and girls in this country. The Center uses the law in all its forms: getting new laws on the books and enforced; litigating ground-breaking cases in state and federal courts all the way to the Supreme Court; and educating the public about ways to make the law and public policies work for women and their families.
