We Are Now Child Care Aware of Washington!
For over 20 years Child Care Aware of Washington (formerly the WA State Child Care Resource & Referral Network) and its local programs have worked with child care providers, families, and policymakers to strengthen Washington’s child care system. Over that time our organization has evolved in order to meet the changing needs of our customers. Today we are excited to announce the next steps in our evolution:
-
New name: Child Care Aware of Washington! We are joining in the nationwide effort to re-brand Child Care Resource & Referral under a new name that anyone, anywhere will associate with high quality child care. Read more >
-
New services: Early Achievers! Child Care Aware of Washington has been chosen by the state to provide supports to parents and providers under the state’s new Quality Rating and Improvement System, Early Achievers. Please go to www.del.wa.gov/care/qris to find out when Early Achievers will be available in your community!
-
New structure! In our latest step to ensure that we use our funding efficiently and effectively, we are consolidating our parent referral services and local program regions. These steps will result in more child care referrals for families and enhanced supports for child care providers! See our map>
