2008 Tax Credits
Parents, you work hard every day to support your family. Parent Central is here to help! Did you know that you might be eligible for tax benefits to help pay for your child care and other expenses and reduce the income taxes you pay or increase your tax refund?
The National Association of Child Care Resource & Referral Agencies (NACCRRA) is once again partnering with the National Women’s Law Center in a Tax Credits Outreach Campaign for the 2008 tax filing season.
No matter what your various individual circumstances may be, be sure to check into these three "family-friendly" tax credits when filing your taxes. Eligible families can claim:
- up to $2,100 from the federal Child and Dependent Care Tax Credit
- up to $1,000 per child from the federal Child Tax Credit
- up to $4,716 from the federal Earned Income Tax Credit
