Collaboration with Principals and Child Care Providers
We are connecting elementary school principals with local child care providers to improve
children's success in school!
Child Care Aware of Washington, the WA Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction and the Department of Early Learning are promoting early learning collaborations between elementary schools and child care providers as one way to help ensure that kids have a great start in school.
In support of the Early Learning Collaboration component of the Washington Kindergarten Inventory of Developing Skills (WaKIDS), Child Care Aware of Washington is providing customized resources and information that aim to increase communications and build connections between kindergarten teachers and child care providers. These services are available at no cost to elementary schools.
If you are an elementary school principal interested in working with CCA of WA and connecting with local child care providers in your area in support of WaKIDS and early learning collaborations, you can:
- Review the project summary to learn more about the project.
- Complete and submit this Provider Data Request form to receive a report of local child care providers, and to connect with the CCA of WA director in your region.
Requests for information will be processed by the CCA of WA Family Center. Follow-up services are provided by CCA of WA regional offices.
